What we do for you:

We offer a totally bespoke service, making occasional chairs to the very highest specification using traditionally glued, screwed and dowelled solid hardwood frames.

You can try out a selection of chairs on display in our shop in Dunnington.

Every chair is unique and made to your requirements and can be covered in any fabric suitable for upholstery use. Our covers are cut and matched by hand and then expertly joined and sewn ensuring each panel of fabric blends effortlessly into the next with all valances attached using the traditional method of hand slip stitching.

Our occasional chairs are all hand made by skilled craftspeople working in Long Eaton, the capital of the British furniture industry.

We can upholster your chair in fabric of your choice from our collection of over 5000 designs, or we can work with any suitable fabric that you supply. We take care of all arrangements to ensure that your furniture meets UK fire safety legislation.

Once your chair is finished you can collect from our York shop or we can arrange delivery throughout the UK and to many locations in Europe.
